Do you have any idea how disgusting our phone actually is? Well..
We use our smartphone almost every day for entertainment purposes, important call, social media and etc. Our phone does get dirty and probably the most disgusting devices besides our toilet. How? And Why? Well we all keep our phone in our bag, or in the pocket, or on our desk, but chances are it spends the large portions of the day on our hand; Which means our hands are the monsters.
Various studies found Streptococcus, MRSA, E. coli and many more species living on mobile phones. However, not all bacteria are completely harmless but this doesn't give you an excuse for not cleaning. But no worries! I’m here to help.
(You want to avoid any household chemical that might be too strong for your sensitive parts of your smartphone.)
- Microfiber cloth
- Apple Cider Vinegar or Antibacterial that doesn’t contain alcohol
I liked to start off by turning off my phone; then with a microfiber cloth to clean the edges, screens, the back and etc. If there are stains that are hard to remove: damp the cloth with small portions of water.
Then for antiseptic finish use apple cider vinegar or antibacterial that doesn’t contain alcohol to mix with water. Now the Q-tips comes in handy for getting into the tight spaces, However, DO NOT wet the Q-tips if you’re going to clean the earphone hole.
I do this by the end of the day or every 2 days for full clean up. I hope you find this helpful.
